Ruth Bader Ginsburg passed away leaving a legacy of fighting for the rights of those who are constantly belittled, suppressed and left in the cold. She was known as Notorious RBG.

She was born and bred in Brooklyn her sister and mother died when she was young
That made her reflective and tough and she knew what had to be done
She made her way through law schools when women were told that was stealing a man’s job
She was at the top of her class smart as a whip didn’t take the abuse of sexist slobs

She spent her life dedicated to equality and fighting for women’s rights
When she had to defend with her dissents, she gave imposters a valiant fight

Whether it was gender discrimination, freedom to choose for women or for privacy rights
Against suppression whether it was voter’s rights or removing artificial barriers in the way in the night
In her long life she saw changes for the better that were battles that had to be won
She said “This is who we are, and we’re proud of it.” So let’s remember her all as one.
